HE'S FINALLY HERE!

Easton Mark Allred has arrived! He made his way into this world August 6th @ 9.1 lbs and 21.5" long! He is such a good baby. He likes eating, taking long naps, eating again, and pooping @ 3 am! We are having so much fun with him! I can't believe how fast he is growing already!

Just wanted to thank everyone for their support and prayers. Sorry we haven't had much time to talk on the phone, but just knowing that you called means a lot!

Thanks Mom for coming out for 2 whole weeks to help us adjust to our new life! We miss you and love you so much!

Thanks Judy for driving all the way out here to deliver baby shower gifts and for jumping on the plane as soon as you could to come help and be with us in the hospital! We love you so much!

Thanks Randy, Bob, Scott and Collin for coming to the hospital and helping out with everything. It meant so much to have you all here!

It's a BOY!

It's a BOY!

We finally found out on Thursday, March 5th, that we are expecting a baby boy! We are so excited! We both thought it would be a girl so it was a huge shock to us! After the ultrasound, we called our families and told them the news. Then we were off to shop for our little guy! It makes it so fun and real to know what your having! I can't believe I'm going to be a mom! It's starting to sink in! What really makes it sink in is the little fluttering I've been feeling lately. He is so active! We always say he's just a swimin' in there!
Here are some pics of the ultrasound and the shopping spree we went on! The top ultrasound is of his boyhood, the middle one is his profile, and the bottom one is his tiny foot!

We're Pregnant!

We're pregnant! It's official! I've waited the appropriate time and now it's safe to tell everyone that we are finally pregnant! All of that practicing finally paid off! I'm almost 10 weeks along. The baby will be due August 13th!
I have been dealing with all of the fun symptoms of pregnancy, morning sickness, exhaustion, dizziness, and hunger! Why do they call it Morning sickness when I feel it all day and night? Luckily my dr. told me to take Unisom and my prenatals at night. That seems to be working for me. Although whenever I do feel sick I just say a quick prayer of thanks that everything is ok. When I feel sick it makes me realize that my baby is doing great!
We have so many nicknames for our little one. Mark and his friends from school named it 'Maverick Danger' and unfortunately that name has stuck with his family as well. My family calls it 'the little zygote'. I call it my 'Twilight Baby' because when I get hungry I feel like it's eating me alive!
I hope everyone out there is doing well and I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New year!
